Yeah, except that Chevrolet fixed that issue after the first few years and the later Corvairs handled like they were on rails.  Nader's action against that car was nothing more than a publicity stunt... a great many other cars had exactly the same problem - the Triumph Spitfire had it in spades and yet was never called out.  The Corvair was a fantastic car that got an undeserved drubbing.  If you've ever driven one of the 180 hp supercharged Corsa's you'd know... they were superb... essentially, they were America's Porsche.  I was sad to see the idea killed.
