Trump is taking advantage of Comey's errors over Clinton's emails (which were in part responsible for getting Trump elected) to get rid of him for other reasons. Why? So Trump can put someone in his place who feels some loyalty to the president, and perhaps will not look too hard at the Russian connections.

Ain't gonna work; it will only increase the scrutiny. I guess Trump didn't follow Watergate when it happened. Trump is so obvious that it's embarrassing.

Even after his departure, Washington may not be done with James Comey. On Tuesday night, a number of Democrats, including Mark Warner, the partys top member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, began calling for him to testify now that hes no longer burdened by administration restrictions on what he can say.

It's all right here is these couple of sentences:

...The potential is there to find evidence of collusion that could be termed traitorous, says Dallek. If he were so clean and without any kind of compromise in this situation, hed let the investigation go forward and urge a special prosecutor to take over. Instead, hes giving every sign of a coverup.

This is how the guilty behave, not the innocent. Trump may have bought himself some time by toppling Comey, but he has made a rigorous independent investigation inevitable.

Let's just lump his myriad of transgressions together and call the whole thing Trumpgate.

Nah, the "x-gate" thing is way over used - I'm good with "WireTap"

I'd prefer to go with "Putin's Cock-Holster."

Poor stupid fucker, this isn't the job he signed up for.  He was probably told he would be universally loved because everything flowing out of this administration was cotton candy and blackberry wine.

Sorry, you are wrong; close but wrong.  It was specific that he would talk about "Old dogs and children and watermelon wine"

or maybe it was about faster horses...

When Slick Willie Fired Sessions...

In 1993, President Clinton ousted William Sessions as FBI director after Sessions refused to voluntarily step down amid ethical concerns. It was the first and only time to happen in U.S. history.

See Trump does some good things, he's gotten Americans off their asses/screens and into making real-life memes again.
